Offered is this Ssh-40 helmet in the proper wartime configuration. This 1944 dated, LMZ made helmet has the proper white, undyed web chinstrap. It has a fair amount of surface rust, but retains a high percentage of the original factory green paint and remains quite presentable. The interior has all three liner pads intact, along with the original drawstring. The correct, late war LMZ factory stamp appears in the lower, rear skirt and denotes a size 1 and 1944 production year. A solid helmet.
