For your consideration is this fine SS enlisted man’s dress dagger.  This piece was a recent pick up by one of our contacts here in Kentucky, and comes from an estate buy in Pennsylvania.  Marked RZM 941 for the famous Carl Eickhorn firm, this is a fine specimen of a desirable dagger.  Complete with scabbard and hanger, this dagger is sure to please.  The fittings are tight, the blade unsharpened and with and undamaged tip.  There is some oxidation to the blade, and typical runner marks, but the cross-grain remains visible.  RZM marks and motto remain clear.  The scabbard has some typical paint loss, but easily rates above 90% and is dent free.  Grip has a few minor dents, but is free from cracks or other damage.  Inset eagle is excellent.  The enamel in the SS grip insignia has one shallow chip between the runes.  The black leather hanger shows typical wear to the leather and nickle plating,  but is functional and in fine condition.  The clip is marked RZM M5/25 for Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid.  Overall, this is a fine piece that we were very please to acquire and offer to our clients.
