Belt buckle as worn by the enlisted ranks of the Reichsarbietsdienst or RAD.  This is an example without the leather tab.  It is an Aluminum buckle that shows clear evidence of wear.  It has darkened in the recesses which offers an attractive contrast to the brighter, worn surface details.  The reverse is marked R.S.& S. for the firm Robert Sieper and Sohns.
