While not it the finest condition, these early Luftwaffe helmets are not common helmets.  This specimen is an ET64 with most of the eagle intact, but the tri-color shield has been removed, and at some point the shell has received a second, blue over paint.  The liner is missing most of the tongues, no drawstring or chinstrap.  The shell interior retains the typical ink stamps to the interior as often seen in these early Luft M35s.   Marked “Staffel 7” with one stamp, the other is not legible. Perhaps someone familiar with these marking can make it out.
