Offered is this above average condition, Soviet M1936 Mess Kit.  In the German style, this kidney shaped mess kit saw limited issue before 1942, but was reverted back to the classic bucket/pail type as the war continued.  This example is 41 dated and has a high percentage of the original olive paint remaining.  The interior contains the long dried remains of the last meal served… actually it is likely paint clinging to the sides.  It might clean up, but we have not attempted.
