For your consideration is the really sharp Luftwaffe M43 field cap.  Constructed in the typical Luftwaffe blue wool with artificial silk liner, this cap is sized 58, RB Numbered and dated 1944.  It has  a textbook application of 2-piece insignia consisting of a machine applied, BeVo rosette and hand applied eagle.  The eagle clearly applied before the cap was complete as the crown stitch that secures the liner passed through one of the wing types. Sweat stains to the interior and some brown stains to the visor.  No other damage to the excellent cap.
