Description
Identification gorget for field police units of the Heer and Waffen SS. This is a fabulous, Assmann made gorget with a complete chain and full backside cloth. The finish of this gorget shows a nice amount of patina a loss of finish consistent with moderate field use. It has a nice “been there” look, but retains most of the finish with minimal damage. The rear center tab on the reverse is struck with the Assmann “A” hallmark. A fine example
