Offered is this stunning Soviet Ssh-39 helmet.  Unless you are into mint, unissued examples, this is really hard to beat. Sized 2A, this helmet is complete in its factory original configuration. The chinstrap, liner, and drawstring are in great condition on this moderately worn specimen. Best of all, this helmet is an uncommon ZKO made helmet, which is the Red October Factory in Stalingrad. These are much harder to find than their LMZ made counterparts.  ZKO factory stamped and dated, a little light, which is common on ZKO helmets.   Also correct for a ZKO is the lack of a metal termination on the chinstrap.  ZKO helmets did not have this detail.  Great patina to the factory green paint as well.  We might shed a few tears when this one leaves.  A great helmet from an uncommon maker.
