• Soviet enlisted man's mid to late war web and leather belt.  The specimen is in mint, unissued condition.  The belt measures approimately 50 inches (127cm) from the buckle hinge to the tip.
  • The 2019 MAX Show was a bit anti-climactic for Sean and I.  However, we did manage to find one great helmet to pass on.  Offered is this Luftschutz reissued, Soviet Ssh-39 helmet.  Typically, we pass on these, but this specimen has a lot going for it.  In terms of factory condition, this helmet is all original.  The liner, chinstrap, and liner drawstring are the original Soviet applications.  The Luftschutz decal is mostly intact, and there is just enough paint loss to demonstrate the original Soviet factory green showing through.  Also visible through the Luft blue is the presence of the original, factory applied red star insignia.  Best of all, this helmet has a complete liner, of the early Kirza made, finger type.  An early made Ssh-39 impressed into German service.

  • Offered is this rather nice pair of 6x30 Dienstglas in ordinance tan.  Typical wear to the yellow paint.  Eye rings intact and neck strap present.  A very presentable pair of glasses for a combat display.
  • Matched aluminum mess kit maker marked and dated SMM 43.  One dent to the front with paint loss, but very good otherwise.
  • Nice field used 6x30 Dienstglas.  This pair is an early, brass body pair.  They are in good condition overall with some loss to finish and the grip layer.  The glasses are compete with neck strap, dust cover, and button tab.  They are stored in what appears to be a British, half-round leather case.  Closure on the case is broken.
  • This large clothing bag was a piece of tropical kit issued to officer's of the Luftwaffe.  This specimen is solid, with no major issues.  It is in good condition, save some rust staining around the metal furniture.
  • Used but not abuses issue rucksack in the tropical style.  Maker marked and dated 42 with a few period repairs.
  • While not in the best condition, this ensemble  is interesting.  A pair of ordinance tan, 6x30 Dienstglas in what I believe is a U.S. leather case.  Unfortunately, the glasses have one damaged eye piece.  What is interesting is that the case is named to a M. Bowden and is denoted "Ex Channel Pilot".  Front closure on the case is broken.  Interesting named case and a pair of 6x30 with some useful parts.
